Sitting still, using pencils and paper, or worse yet, having to listen to a teacher lecture about what they need to know is not how my students learn best! These requested materials will provide objects for learning number sense that will be important and fun for them! Counting and organizing, using spinners, and manipulating fun objects will teach them the skills that they need and doing it developmentally! My students crave active learning! These young learners deserve to have meaningful learning experiences!. With these types of materials, providing experiences that will better make connections into understanding math and their world, there will be no stopping them reaching grade level goals. Learning can be fun and meaningful all at the same time!
