My students are English Language Learners, many with interrupted education backgrounds. We teach students to see bilingualism as a gift, "un regalo." They live in low income households with families who value education as the best way to achieve the American Dream. My school is constantly forging ahead with a rigorous curriculum and extremely high standards. As a result, we are improving test scores and graduation rates every year.
