My students are all at our small charter school by choice, since they have to opt-in to a zip-code lottery to be here. This means we are privileged to have students from a vast range of socio-economic and cultural backgrounds which makes for an amazingly varied student body and school culture. They are supportive and collaborative when it comes to group work and projects, and become better and better at using their individual differences to their advantage as they progress through our school.
