In our school, we emphasize "The 7 Habits of Happy Kids" With this project I want to be able to allow students of different grade levels to synergize (work together). Taking ideas from “Building Student Engagement with Everblocks”, I want to use some larger than normal lego bricks to create experiences for 2nd graders. I am working with 2 other grade levels and we are trying to acquire blocks to create activities that span our grade levels. Working with different activities we will increase rigor as we progress. The answers to the clues and puzzles would be the information learned in the current unit of study. These blocks would allow our students the opportunity to build relationships with other grade levels. This will decrease the anxiety of going to the next grade level. Eliminating this anxiety is beneficial to students who face many uncertainties at home.
