I work at a Title one school which services 85% African American students and 10% Hispanic students. The school does not have enough funds to pay for this project; however, I do not believe that is a reason to deprive them of Project Based Learning. Students learn best with hands on experience and they love to put their hands on real lab supplies and tools. My students like to use their imaginations to create their own models and test the models they create. Students are allowed to make modifications to their creations until they get the experience they expected when first creating their projects.
