Our students come from every economic and racial background. We are an inner city magnet school with a theme based on creating our own society. Many students travel for long periods on a bus to attend our school. Students must enter a lottery and commit to excellence. Our school government and our peacekeepers are run by students who supervise this community as our classrooms turn into ventures twice a week. Ventures range from our Kindergarten Cafe to Museums. Paychecks are earned and spent during Discovery Days at other ventures. We love learning with a passion that keeps us after school at clubs and extra lessons by choice. Our school has a history of excellence and we will do whatever it takes to provide our students with experiences to increase their love of learning.
