My school serves more than 600 students from Pre-K through 8th grade. We are one of three Regionally Gifted Centers for English Language Learners in Chicago Public Schools. I am so fortunate to work at a school that promotes native language development and improvement in Spanish (and Polish). My students are able to develop fluency and literacy in English and their home language. 84% of our students are low income and come from diverse backgrounds, they are all eager to learn but unfortunately many do not have access to Spanish materials outside of school. Donations will help to instill a love for reading and allow them to explore culturally relevant resources.
