Thank you for visiting my Donors Choose page! My name is Julie Burkhardt, and I am a special educator in Detroit, Michigan. I have a resource room of incredible students ranging in ages from 14-18, some of whom I have had for four years in a row now. My students have a range of abilities and disabilities; some have cognitive impairments, some will be the next IT professionals, some have ADHD, and some are unbelievable artists. I love seeing them progress throughout high school, and mature into young adults. My job is hard work but I love it and wouldn't change a thing about it. Thank you for any help that you can give!
