The main obstacle with my reading instruction stems from the fact that I struggle to make all of the materials visible for every student in the class. For this reason, I am looking for funding for a Brothers Compact Laser Printer/Scanner to keep my readers visually engaged. This all-in one printer will be used daily to scan sight words, poems and other readings onto the SMARTBoard. This printer will also be utilized as a printing press for our Writers' Work as my students work on authoring their own stories and books. These books, as well as the Writers' Workshop exercises, will be printed out and added to our classroom library!
