Imagine sitting on a carpet that has accumulated dirt, dust, and stains that never go away with the annual carpet cleaning. I am requesting individual rugs, that can give my students the flexibility to sit comfortably in their own personal space. Having these rugs will also help promote student independence and sense of responsibility in keeping them clean and putting them away after each use. In addition, these rugs will be used during whole-group instruction (e.g. blending, cognitively-guided instruction in math), small-group instruction (e.g. guided reading, writing), and individual activities, such as reading to self and reading to a buddy. This is my first time submitting a Donors Choose project. I hope I can count on your donation to bring this project to life!
