The materials I'm requesting will be for my students, who are in a title 1 school and might also be struggling with procuring basic supplies needed for their homeroom. I believe no child should have to go without access to the arts. The materials will be a part of an art kit and provide a base for weekly art projects that students will show, discuss, and share online during virtual learning with me. With these supplies, all of my students can participate in art making. They will benefit from creating self-portraits, story telling through drawing, and observing and documenting the objects, places, and people around them during these trying times keeping the whole child in mind.

About my class
