Our students are curious, sweet, and in the beginning stages of realizing that learning is exciting! They are troopers, always trying their best even amidst the challenges at home. One of the biggest challenges we face is in helping our students feel safe and secure in the classroom. They have difficulty understanding that the classroom isn't a place to be perfect, but a place to make mistakes, learn from them, set high goals, and make reaching these goals possible. Many of our students are reading and writing below grade level. As their teacher, it is my goal to create a warm and inviting space filled with resources, watering their learning to grow!

About my class
