Chromebooks enrich students' lives! My fifth graders currently have access to just a few Chromebooks during the week and they would truly appreciate and benefit from access to this technology more often. The addition of three Chromebooks will allow for collaboration through Google Classroom and Google Apps for Education. My students will use the Chromebooks for research and to write reports. They will also have access to curriculum based games and websites for math and literacy enrichment. Chromebooks will provide my students the opportunity to increase and demonstrate their knowledge in new ways. Having this technology more accessible will increase student engagement, collaboration and open more avenues for creativity; all benefits that my students will carry with them for their entire lives.
