I have been teaching for almost 10 years. This is my 5th year teaching 2nd grade. I teach in a low income school to children with various cultural backgrounds. My goal is to to build an "End of the Year" student and have them college and career ready by helping them to acquire the much needed skills they will need to succeed in the future. I go to many professional development classes. Most of these classes require use of technology which is not provided by my school district. As constant changes are being made in the field of education on both state and federal levels, it is imperative for both student and teacher to keep abreast with the latest technologies and skills for classroom use.
