We are requesting a variety of art supplies, mindfulness posters and books. Please take a moment to think about the beauty of being a young child in school. These materials will provide my elementary students the opportunity to create, reflect, and learn to be mindful classroom and community members. Imagine a world where all students have the opportunity and access to a space where they could fully express themselves and feel peaceful and confident. My class is a combination of art-making, hands on projects, community building, and mindful movement to empower the well-being of all students. My aim for all students is to feel free, realize their talents, and appreciate the talents and value of their peers.
