Our students are an eager, expressive, and energetic (I mean ENERGETIC!) troupe of budding performers who need desperately the enlightening benefits of theatrical performance. We have no drama department, and physical education occurs only twice a week, with recesses being canceled almost daily due to cold and snow. So, every rehearsal is an explosion of children who are not used to moving their bodies but want so badly to be given the opportunity to push themselves physically, dramatically, and vocally, because they can sense the exuberance that comes with self-exploration. Every student performer in our troupe is constantly asking for more opportunity to dance, sing, joke, act, make noises, jump up and down...be free! I want to give them that rare opportunity.
