My students have ADHD, learning disabilities and Autism. Many of them can create amazing projects from paper, dance like pros, produce personal videos, and help others whenever the opportunity arises. They are each blessed with special gifts and it is my job to help them demonstrate their abilities with success. Our school is a public charter and our students come from all over the county to be part of our school community. All of our special education students are mainstreamed the majority of their day with the intent of preparing them for productive futures in the community. Each student matters and providing tools that help them demonstrate their strengths, despite any weaknesses they may have, is our goal as a staff.
