Delaware Elementary School is a Title 1 school with a very high free & reduced lunch population. Most of my students come to school without the supplies and resources they need to be successful. But despite their lives outside of school most of the students come to school with a positive attitude & genuinely love learning! Our school is also a Textbook free school. This means that all resources used in the classroom are created by the teachers. While this can mean a heavy workload for the teachers, it also means that instruction is planned and targeted at exactly what our students need to be successful! In the past few years we have seen outstanding student growth in all subject areas!
