Communication is vital! Close your eyes & imagine this, A child who is hungry, thirsty, or sick. He doesn't have the words. He may tantrum. He may act out. He just wants to talk, but the words do not come out. Many students struggle with being able to communicate their basic wants & needs. An IPAD mini with the help of a communication app will give these kiddos "power" in their fingertips. As a special educator I model communication verbally. How awesome would it be to teach, model, and support students to communicate using specialized apps on the IPAD. Won't you help me to help them?
