Middle school students are unlike any other group of students. Their bodies and their minds are constantly changing. They are beginning to discover who they really are. They are dramatic and energetic. If you can capture this energy, you touch their hearts and can create readers for life. Specifically, my students are in grades 6-8. We are a rural, public school composed of Cadiz, Middletown, and Sulphur Springs. We literally sit in the middle of what used to be a cornfield. We are a relatively small school averaging 100 students per grade. We are a school where teachers know students in all grade levels by name.

About my class
