I have very active students that need to move quite a bit. These choices in seating will allow them to have more choices in their learning as well as the ability to move while still getting their work done. The chair bands will allow my more active students to sit in their chair but still get their energy out. By using balance balls at the small group table, students will have extra incentive to work with the teacher or in groups. The yoga mats will allow them to comfortably spread out around the room as they get wrapped up in a new book. This project will specifically help my students with ADHD and special needs for years to come.
