One of the music programs we offer at our school is a Little Kids Rock Modern Band curriculum. This year we received a spike in our school’s enrollment which is a wonderful thing, but with a growing school our programs need to grow as well which means we need additional instruments. Music in our school is an area of particular strength and these instruments will help our growing student population benefit not only with the mental abilities music offers, but the teamwork it teaches as well. These instruments are used in a program that I have always felt teaches students the way that music should be taught, by using popular music to teach them music that is socially and culturally relevant to the student. By adding 5 guitars, our 45 member program grows to 50. More musicians means a stronger program.
