My students need a new rug to provide a warm and inviting place to sit on the floor during group activities. We frequently use our carpet throughout the day for activities such as calendar time, letter/number/shape/color of the week, story time, and more. This new rug will brighten our room up and make it easier for students to find their place for group time. The individual rectangles on this rug will allow students to learn about personal space as well. Each child will have their own rectangle which will help each student feel more independent and secure knowing they have their own special spot.
