My students come from a school of low-income. We are considered a high poverty school for our state. The funding we receive does not help us provide books for our students. Currently, we have no reading curriculum and haven't for the last decade. Our town is very small and does not have a lot of money. My students are very inquisitive and sweet. Even though some have lived in their cars/hotels/relatives homes, they have a good outlook on life.
