Our school is a small, rural school with usually only one teacher per grade-level. My classroom is self-contained with 19 students this year. These kiddos are so motivated! They love tracking their growth and progress especially in reading. The group, however, has reading abilities that range from 2nd grade to 7th grade. It is also common, as it is this year, to have a high percentage of students that struggle to engage in learning activities. For that reason, the learners including myself are energetic and constantly on the move.

About my class
