My students are sharp, boisterous, and eager to learn. They are highly inquisitive, hard working, and take pride in their accomplishments and learning. They love tracking their growth and support each others' efforts. They are thirst for information and enjoy any bits of cultural knowledge they can absorb. The most exciting part of teaching my students getting to see the joy they bring to class discussions. When reading a good book, they get lost in conversation, challenge and support each others' thinking, and celebrate any connections they can make with the text. You can see their passion when they literally jump out of their seats when debating and engaging their peers. Unfortunately, our classroom leveled library is insufficient to support our students desires and needs.
