Students love making music, but it's not nearly as effective or fun when there are limited or low-quality music instruments to use. Right now, our current rhythm sticks have been used for many years and are no longer safe to use. This project seeks to replace the current rhythm sticks which are starting to get splintered and broken, as well as to get enough Boomwhackers that all students can participate in making music with them at the same time. Boomwhackers are also great instruments for students with special needs as they're accessible to nearly all students and their color differentiation allows even students whose reading or language skills are limited to participate right along with their peers.
