Our school is located in a small, rural community. I have one hundred students with many different backgrounds and situations, yet each of them desires to learn new things and do their best. I have kids who volunteer in the community and others who have jobs to help support their families. I have students who are talented artists, athletes, actors, and musicians. Some are talented readers and writers, others struggle in those areas. Each of my students has a desire to learn and achieve. I love to see their smiles when they get a good grade on something they've struggled with. Though they are not all "A" students, they all strive to do their best work with the tasks and lessons they are presented with.
