Students fell in love with table tennis a few years back when a student constructed one for our school. A year later, my students constructed an improved table. Now, students have the passion to keep getting better, but we need more tables to support their engagement. With the purchase of three table tennis tables, students will be able to participate and grow their skills through their PE classes and through a daily after school program. Students need positive physical activities to de-stress and build confidence. The cool observation that I've made with respect to table tennis is that students of all levels love to play and each day I see new students trying to learn. I believe in this project, because it provides an experience for students that they might not receive in their lives. A simple recreational activity/hobby like this can go a long way.
