Learning to play a musical instrument is such a wonderful and important experience for any child. They not only learn to express themselves through the universal language of music, but also how to be responsible and take care of their instrument. Playing a stringed instrument requires the use of many tools and extra pieces of equipment like rosin, shoulder rests and rock stops. My students also need easy access to pencils and sheet music. Since we do not sit at desks, we need a convenient place to store all of these extra supplies. Pouches for the back of their chairs will help keep everything together and organized.
