Liberty High School students have demonstrated commitment to academic and social growth, preferring the small student/teacher ratios, averaging 15:1. Students apply to our school for admission. Students are from diverse learning backgrounds. This year Jersey City's funding for public schools was dramatically decreased, resulting in a loss of extended day and enrichment programs that prepare and support students achieving excellence. The strength of our learning community is its inclusive policy. Our entire staff works together to ensure that we use all of our ingenuity to give students meaningful learning experiences. With a very small budget to match the physical environs of our building, we are aiming to create dynamic multipurpose classrooms that provide stimulating and comfortable learning experiences.
