My students have an interesting situation at our school. We have three different programs. Our first is the magnet program. This brings students from all over our district to our school because they have tested really high. We also have the dual immersion program where students become bilingual. Then, there is traditional school which is what I teach. This makes them sometimes feel as if they aren't as good as the other students at our school. When they walk into my classroom they feel like they are the most important students and this helps them feel safe in the world of learning. They make progress every day and are so excited to be shown the progress they are making. My students teach me more than I could ever teach them.
