My class is alive with the "sound of music." I want to get these items, such as drums, costumes, puppets, camera technology, and so much more, so my students can have more authentic experiences when they are "demonstrating" history through their performance. Students no longer have to pretend that they are beating a drum or wearing a wig--lol This project will actually get many items that we always "pretend" we have. Our simulations and role-playing will be more powerful. My students have always wanted to film themselves for others--show off their talents! My students have always asked about filming themselves, making movies, and videos to share with the school and the world of Youtube. They have always had the knowledge; they have just been lacking on the "tools." Now, you can make this happen for them!
