Our school is a public, K-12 school with a strong expectation of both student learning and student behavior. We teach kindness, thoughtfulness, and respect for all in our community. Along with that, all adults in the building -- faculty and support staff -- have a love of learning that they long to impart in their students. Our kids come from diverse backgrounds and comprise a very large range of academic ability. We have a building-wide belief that all children are learners and that each child should be encouraged to achieve his or her potential. However, our library works overtime! When our school was founded, we opened as a K-6 school. We have grown over time and now are K-9, growing to K-12 in the next three years. Unfortunately, our original school library was an Elementary-level library and there is not a lot of choice for teen readers.
