Our library serves an elementary school with approximately 600 students from kindergarten to fifth grade. All of our students currently receive free and reduced lunch as they come from homes that have very limited resources. Many of our students don't have the luxury of traveling to explore the state, the country, or the world. The library is a place where they can explore other places and cultures through books. We work hard to provide books that encourage growth in reading. We seek out the most popular literary characters and children's authors to create an environment that creates excitement when choosing a new book.

About my class
