I teach at a small, charter school located in the heart of an urban mecca. We strive to create an ethnically-diverse population where students strive to become scholars, activists, and creators each day. Additionally, we provide our students with small class sizes of 20 students or less. Unfortunately, this means that our funding is reduced significantly and, as teachers, we are often left with limited supplies and resources.
