Technology is slowly becoming a necessity in the field of education. Many of the educational programs that are used on a daily basis are fundamental to getting my students on grade level. With the new Ipads, I will alleviate the struggle of not having a 1:1 technology ratio. Many of my students do not have access to technology at home, so they need to get all the practice and exposure they can get in school. The Ipads will allow them to access apps that tailor their instruction to their learning style such as leveled readers and books that are in their interest level. Another benefit of having these Ipads in my classroom is that the students will have more equitable access to programs such as Dreambox Math program.
