My students love science and social studies! When they come to my room they know they are going to be working together in small groups to explore science topics or to learn about their country's past. Our current tables are at least 10 years old and are beginning to break down. My goal is I would like to provide a single, compartment desk for each student in the classroom. Students will be able to sit together in pairs or larger groupings. This type of desk with compartments keeps the surface area clear and the floor area clear, as well, for group work. Each student will have his or her own space but will be able to share their area too!
