My school is a title one school meaning at more than 50% of the students in the school are on free or reduced lunch. I have a diverse class of 18 second graders that sit in groups at four tables. They are motivated and eager to learn. I strive everyday to provide a positive, fun learning experience in my classroom. Instead of sitting in their seats, I give my students the option of reading and working around the room. Some choose under the tables, on top of counters, or in a corner.
