My goal is to find ways to bring technology into the classroom to enhance our science and social studies curriculum. I am a first year teacher with 6 classes of 25+ 2nd and 3rd graders in Southwest Philadelphia. We are a predominantly African American school with a high immigrant population from Mali, Nigeria, the D.R.C., and Liberia to name a few countries. About 90% of students live at or below the federal poverty line. My kids are hungry for science and love to explore the world around them. They bring so much knowledge and curiosity to the table. It is a thrill to be there to guide them on this journey.
