My students are the sweetest little 8 year olds I have met. I have watched them take care of each other, showing kindness and empathy. When they get a pencil, they are thrilled, when they can give one they are thrilled as well. These kids are also extra hungry to learn and are enjoying the whole school experience. Many of them come from homes where basic needs are a struggle, but they are here every day, many before my day even begins. My dream is to have a larger classroom, but we have so many students there is no extra room for furniture...so the next good thing would be a larger carpet.

About my class
