My S.T.E.M. students will explore exhibits that will allow them to connect to science, history, math, technology outside of the classroom. I can hear the shouts of joy now. They will learn beyond the "textbook" and have an opportunity for first-hand experiences of lessons and information that interests them. Imagine watching African penguins swimming, waddling, and dining, surely my future veterinarians will have to be pulled away from that exhibit. What about my students who live in the constant twilight of the city lights and rarely see the constellations? Imagine seeing everything that twinkles in the night in a 75-foot dome that displays one of the most accurate digital Universes ever created, talk about a faraway galaxy that now makes sense. My students who miss their family in the Philippines can feel a greater connection by visiting the Philippine Coral Reef and watch reef fish dart through colorful forests of coral. Each student will have so much to see and talk about all year long. Can't wait to give them this experience! Thanks for your help.
