My students come from very demanding backgrounds. I work in an inner city school in one of the most challenging areas of Chicago (Englewood). 100% of my students receive free lunch due to their economic status. I've seen terrible things happen to them because of the environment that they come from. However, I want to expose them to the type of education that I've seen at other schools and afford them the opportunity to tell and share their stories. I want them to discover how to use technology within the classroom to create their own News production called "iNews".
