This year, I fully intend to share the GOOD NEWS about Donors Choose! All districts have suffered cutbacks that are felt in the classrooms. I have never worked in an affluent district but I have seen how classrooms look and how the abundance of tools can influence the effectiveness of teachers and the confidence of students. The students that I teach now are just as deserving of an abundance of learning tools as all children are. Many of my students do not speak English at home and most have special needs. My challenge is teaching Extraordinary Learners with language challenges. What I love about Math is that it is the same in any language. My students quickly learn this and I cheer them on every day. The Classroom Math Tools that Donors Choose provides, turn my students into confident learners! It lets them know that someone they have yet to meet, BELIEVES in them.
