My school is in a high-needs urban community in Brooklyn. I teach Advanced Placement and Regents-level ESL history courses. All my students are college-bound and we focus on preparing for college extensively in the classroom. In fact, my A.P. students are doing college-level work right now. Nonetheless, resources are scarce at school and my students have even fewer options at home.
