This is a classroom of critical thinkers in a GATE (Gifted and Talented Education). These students are 5th graders at a large public school in Southern California. They are extremely bright, but they lack the experience with technology in the academic setting, which is so needed in college and eventually, their careers. Being that we have such a large student population, the few mobile computers that we have, needs to be shared by a large number of classes, leaving little computer time.

About my class
