Our school is one of a handful of dual language programs in our area. One of the things that makes our school special is that we were the first charter to focus on language immersion. Our school is comprised of learners form all backgrounds, and we are proud to say that we have helped develop a school and local community that embraces each others differences. We are a PK-8th Title 1 school with 100% free and reduced lunch, and almost 40% of our families are immigrants. The majority of our students do not speak Spanish as a first language, yet they thrive and rise to the challenge of learning in a different language - Spanish language acquisition is but a byproduct of learning their content in Spanish.
