All of my students enjoy using technology regularly, as they have been raised in an era where technology is everywhere. However, due to lower income families and lack of funds to use, my classroom only has 3 laptops. Through my love of using technology for learning in the classroom, I need your help to engage my students who are unable to use devices at home in a variety of ways by using the iPads we hope to receive at school! "We need to embrace technology to make learning more engaging. Because when students are engaged and they are interested, that's where learning takes place.”- Unknown The use of technology within my classroom will be used as centers within all subjects. My students will be given the opportunity to explore websites, apps and tools to help foster their learning by using an engaging tool, such as iPads. One of many jobs a teacher has is to actively engage the students. In particular, Kindergarten students need active and engaging hands-on tools in order to gain responsibility and independence of their own learning. If my students were to receive two iPads, I would be able to implement more learning, and use quality time to enhance my student's learning in both literacy and mathematics. The help of your donations will allow my grateful students the opportunity to use an engaging device to foster their learning and allow collaboration, innovation and self-expression as there are an abundant amount of opportunities that will be used with more devices in our classroom! The student's lives will be changed for the better as they will feel that they to are able to acheive greatness if given the tools in a school safe environment!
