My school is a K – 4 building with approx. 550 students. The school is typically a high achieving school, which means students with disabilities struggle and stand out even more. My students have been diagnosed with learning disabilities, autism, other health impairments, and emotional disabilities. Because they struggle with academics or behaviors, school can be hard for them. There are times when they are frustrated that their peers can learn easier than they can.
