My school is progressive with a standard of excellence. That's why we have offered Human Anatomy and Physiology this year! Students in my A&P class want to be doctors, nurses, trainers, coroners, investigators, nutritionists, body artists.. the list goes on. Some just want to know about their bodies. Some want to know about diseases. They are active and motivated to learn. They love to touch things. They yearn for activities in which they can hold and manipulate things or observe structures and processes. My students are collaborative problem solvers. They love to demonstrate their understanding and share their knowledge with friends and family. They get excited when they go to doctor's visits and know what the doctor is talking about. They love that they can "practice" methods on their siblings so as to boast about the amazing things they learn in A&P. I am very proud of my students, not only for their enthusiasm, but because they are working so hard to excel in a difficult course
